PHILOSOPHY

Architecture is the art of finding opportunities while navigating interrelated tensions to achieve the intended objectives with a visually and functionally desirable outcome. Politics and power struggles are intertwined and must be navigated, not ignored, to achieve the objective. People are at the source of all built infrastructure, and without input from the people and an understanding of the context in which they exist, the process of responsible spatial design can’t begin. Architects have a creative-technical training and with this the skill to find simple solutions for seemingly large problems.

The role of the architect, at Architecture Fabrik, is seen as a negotiator where various objectives need to be achieved, in order to provide quality living environments for cohesive communities. Diversity of all kinds are embraced, with the end goal of improving the living, working and learning environments for those that use them to promote healthy, happy lives.

We always strive for excellent design but never ignore the stakeholders, funding and legislation.
