As part of a multi-disciplinary team, Architecture Fabrik developed the concept designs for four Technology Hubs in Kwa-Zulu Natal. 

The purpose of the project was to test the feasibility of technology and innovation clusters where an enabling environment can occur. The hubs would be used and supported by  companies, suppliers, service providers and institutions to create an economic advantage for the sector to grow and compete globally.

The designs zone the sites for research, innovation, enterprise and public interface while providing business opportunities in strategic locations while complying with the local town planning requirements. The proposed buildings and landscaping aim towards a net zero carbon footprint.
