Perched on a hill, with architectural guidelines prescribed by the housing estate, the design aims to maximise views, and simultaneously focus attention on calming features and artworks. Warm tones are used to counter the expansive areas of glass, and the scale of the house is broken down by stepping back the facades to give the effect of multiple pavilions.
